Our family was disappointed. They charged us more per night than what the website states. They require you purchase their garbage bags if you want to dispose your garbage in the dumpster yet they burned garbage each night we were there, you could smell it and it left sout all over our vehicle. The owner feeds deer at night and his trail camera flashes in your window all night long. They also raise chickens, it just isn't the up north feel that you usually get at most resorts.
I would recommend Donners bay down the road,they got everything you need,bait,boats,motors,open bar,beach,basketball hoop,volleyball sand pit and have a/c in there cabins for about the same price or a little less. plus they get fishing reports and give you an idea where to go to fish.
My family has been coming here since before I was born. it has some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They are like family to me. The lake is beautiful fun to ski and tube on. The cabins are very nice and warm. They also have a very nice campground. You feel very at home there. I has a playground with swings a mere-go-round a balance beam swings and a Teter totter. It also has a bar with a pool table a racing game a juke box and a deer hunting game and a variety game system. It's very peaceful and quiet. Overall one of the most enjoyable places to go on vacation.
We were disappointed with our stay,seemed like we inconvenienced the managers when we got there to check in,no info was given,just an arm point to where our cabin was,the fishing was slow and the cabins were hot at night with no a/c,making it hard to sleep at night.
